Surah Al-Maidah 5:73: Those who say, “Allah is one in a Trinity,” have indeed fallen into disbelief. There is only One God. If they do not stop saying this, those who disbelieve among them will be afflicted with a painful punishment.

Quran claims that those who believe in the Trinity are disbelievers and will be punished. Zakir Naik claims that Trinity does not exist in the Bible but is there in the Quran. He claims that the Holy Trinity is a false doctrine that cannot be found in the Bible.

Is this really true? Is the doctrine of the Holy Trinity taught in the Bible? Did Zakir Naik and the Quran understand the correct picture of the Holy Trinity found in the Bible? These are the questions that Muslims need to think about carefully.

In Surah 5:116, the Quran paints a false picture of the Holy Trinity, which consists of God the Father (Allah), God the Mother (Mary) and God the Son (Jesus), which is actually false teaching. The true Holy Trinity can be found in Matthew 28:19, where Jesus commanded his disciples to go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them IN THE NAME OF THE FATHER AND THE SON AND THE HOLY SPIRIT. That’s the true Holy Trinity found in the Bible.
